Improving academic excellence – I will ensure our curriculum is both challenging and engaging, while providing students the resources they need to succeed.

Background
I’ve lived in the Evanston-Skokie community for over 10 years. I am married and a stepmom to two remarkable young women who attended King Arts. With a B.S. in Chemistry and an MBA from DePaul University, I recently retired after a 26-year career in pharmaceutical manufacturing, where I was a senior director in Quality Assurance with global responsibilities.
During my career, I led numerous projects critical to ensuring the safety and efficacy of medications. My role demanded a high level of detail-oriented work, adherence to stringent regulatory requirements, and working with people from different cultures around the world. From these experiences, I developed a robust skill set that includes leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning—skills directly transferable to the work of the District 65 school board.
Being retired, I can engage more deeply with our community through volunteer work. Serving on the District 65 school board is an important way to contribute. If elected, I will be an active and committed board member, dedicating the necessary time and effort to fulfill this crucial role in our community.
My personal experience emphasizes the importance of effective school district governance. When I was in high school, the state took over my school district. My memory of that experience makes me determined to prevent such an outcome for the Evanston-Skokie community.
